Advanced Rocket Technologies and Al Hussein Technical University Sign MoU to Advance Space Education in Jordan
On October 28, 2025, Advanced Rocket Technologies (ART) and Al Hussein Technical University (HTU) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen collaboration in space education, research, and capacity building across Jordan and the wider region.
This milestone partnership aims to inspire and empower the next generation of engineers through technical training, hands-on workshops, and joint research projects in aerospace and rocket development. The agreement outlines cooperation in key areas such as: student internships, innovation challenges, knowledge exchange programs, and the development of rocketry-focused initiatives that contribute to national and regional growth in the space sector.
Following the signing, ART held its first Rocketry Workshop at HTU, titled “Introduction to Rocketry.” The session, led by Saif Eldirini – Senior Structure Engineer at ART – introduced students to the fundamentals of rocket design, launch systems, and the rapidly growing opportunities within the global and regional space industry.
The workshop marked the official launch of ART’s educational outreach program in Jordan, sparking curiosity and enthusiasm among HTU students.
During the visit, ART representatives also had the pleasure of meeting the inspiring team behind Al-Rhim sat — a student-led satellite project at HTU. The team shared insights into their progress and future mission to space, reflecting the growing capabilities and ambition within Jordan’s young space community.
This collaboration with HTU represents another important step toward ART’s mission of building regional expertise in rocket and spacecraft technologies, while supporting the creation of sustainable pathways for students to engage in real-world aerospace development.
