Our Rocketry intro course is part of ART Academy and its objective is to define two concepts. The first concept: Rocket Fundamentals: Gain a comprehensive understanding of the basics of rockets, including their components and systems, laying the groundwork for advanced exploration in rocket science. The second concept: Design and Development: Learn to apply theoretical knowledge to practical design projects, culminating in the creation of a model rocket using Openrocket software, honing your skills in propulsion, and mechanical engineering design.

Lecture 1: Rocket Fundamentals – Dive into the basics of space rockets and its systems.
Lecture 2: Intro to Propulsion Systems – Learn about the different categories of the propulsion systems & the physics behind rocket engines.
Lecture 3: Mechanical Engineering Design – Delve into the mechanical engineering techniques for rockets – tanks, body, engine, materials and tests.
Lecture 4: Openrocket Project – Engage in hands-on projects using Openrocket to design a model rocket with all its sub-systems.
Lecture 5: Project follow up & Q/A Lecture – To answer any questions you may have and assist you with any inquiries regarding the course topic & project delivery.
