This is more than a legal milestone. It marks our formal commitment to enable the Middle East and Africa with locally built, sovereign, on-demand, and low-cost space rockets.
A Strategic Bridge Between Nations
We intend to operate as a British-Omani enterprise. This structure creates a clear bridge between the United Kingdom and the Sultanate of Oman. By combining British aerospace standards with Oman’s ambitious vision, we enable faster knowledge transfer and practical innovation for the region.
Building on a Foundation of Trust
Our journey in Oman didn’t start today. Over the past years, we have worked quietly to prepare a sovereign space ecosystem. This registration is the outcome of that groundwork and several key collaborations:
- Partnership with KGA: This partnership bridges theory and real flight execution. Consequently, students gain hands-on skills that match global industry needs.
- Integration with Etlaq Spaceport: By aligning with the region’s first spaceport, we position ART at the core of regional launch infrastructure. Therefore, future missions can scale faster.
- Race 2 Space Oman Initiative: Through MoUs and outreach with universities, we are preparing the first university model rocket competition in MENA this year. This effort strengthens early talent pipelines.

Alignment with Vision 2040
This move aligns closely with Oman Vision 2040. The Sultanate’s ambition to diversify its economy through advanced technology and high-value manufacturing. Hence, Oman offers the ideal environment for ART to grow. We have found not only a location, but also a shared spirit of ambitious support. Government entities and local industry partners show a unified drive to lead the regional space race.
Finally, our goal is clear. We want to empower Omani and MENA youth with practical tools and real launch opportunities. We will also provide accessible launch services for research and commercial payloads. Ultimately, we aim to launch a 100% locally built orbital vehicle, supported by regional payloads and guided by international best practices.
